How would humanity change if the life expectancy of humans was 500 years?

0 0
if the current trend of population growth continues and the supplies and all other factors remain same then the planet will be destroyed in the first 500 years itself as there would be no deaths and all births.. all consumables will be consumed and wars will be fought over what's left or maybe to gather more and more of food and resources to sustain life... OR the other scenario could be that the entire planet of people come together to seek new ways to sustain and produce enough resources to be able to comfortably live through the lengthy journey...!!!

All the countries will become like China and India in population. The economical problems will become severe. Natural resources of the world will be under lot of pressure as Infrastructure projects will be continuously increasing and industrial development will be horrible.

Suppose that we live 500 years. Will our young ages grow proportionally, to let say 300 years? If so, there will be much more children from each person. Both longer lifetime and growing fertility will increase the Earth population from 7-10 billion (today and projection for 2050) to much higher level (maybe 20 billion in 2050 and 40 in 2100), that will be catastrophic for the limited resources on the Earth. There will be wars for resources, and few will live those biological 500 years.

We would have to inhabit multiple planets, Earth wouldn't be able to support that amount of people.

You would have 400 years of dementia

Live 5oo years doesn't matter do we live healthy

Incase if we live world will be overcrowded many chaos

Then this world would be overcrowded with people and our limited resources would definitely be depleted cause we would consume too much. This would then cause war and destruction as we fight for whatever is left. It will not be a pretty sight to see.

The statistic shows the average life expectancy in North America for those born in 2018, by gender and region. In Canada, the average life expectancy was  80 years for males and 84 years for females in 2018.
