  1. It's better safe than sorry.. Firstly avoid place which seem or are known to be precarious (some people find it adventurous and overestimate themselves)
  2. Always aim for weak spots like eyes, nose, ears, joints and groin...
  3. if you are not used to using your fists then actually avoid using it.. you might hurt yourself more than the attacker..
  4. if caught then make sure you hurt hard the attacker in places mentioned in point #2 and then make run for it
  5. always keep a strong pepper spray handy.. with good quantity.
  6. always make sure your phone battery is lasting enough and is charged when you go out..
  7. When trapped ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS Remember that the other is also just a human and has weak points too.. take a deep breath, gather enough courage to hit hard without mercy at weak points mentioned in point #2 and RUN don't try to stay and watch if the person is able to get up or not... once down... RUN RUN RUN and get / tell the cops.. unless you are a trained and seasoned martial artist... in which case you would already know everything that i have mentioned here!!!

God bless all.. May the Energies be with you... Be Safe!!!

Practice target denial. Don’t make yourself an accessible target. The outcome of a battle is often determined before the first blow is struck. When you have the opportunity to escape from a situation before it turns bad, take it.

Don't panic if you're knocked down. More often than not, women end up on the ground when they’re assaulted. The good news is that most assailants are not skilled ground fighters; they’re bullies who are used to knocking women down and forcing them to comply.

Everyone has a comfort zone or personal space. When an aggressor enters that zone, you’re uncomfortable because you know you’d need that space if you had to fight back
