Was Mahatma Gandhi involved in the death of Bhagat Singh?

Known as one of India's most influential and revolutionary personalities, Bhagat Singh is a name that we have all grown up hearing. He is known to be a martyr, but according to certain conspiracy theories, the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi could've stopped his execution in 1931. Gandhi was a firm believer of non-violence and that is exactly what Bhagat Singh was following. The entire country followed his steps and that is why Gandhi did not stop that execution.
Another theory says that Gandhi supported Bhagat Singh's imprisonment since his ways of protest were a threat to the leader of the Independence Movement.
