In terms of understanding how BTC/blockchain works at a high level, youtube works great. I personally learned about it with this video, which does really well in explaining how it works and also why it works in simple terms that anyone can understand. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBC-nXj3Ng4

Once you get a good understanding and want to do more, I really liked looking at this guy's review of BTC's source code https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyixWPMbRXI

You can start reading articles written about cryptos and blockchains in here https://www.publish0x.com/?a=1YQdJWyeOG (which is my referral link) where writers (i.e. experts and blockchain fans) get paid for publishing articles and readers get paid to read them. So, both authors and readers are rewarded. Therefore, as a beginner you can not only learn about cryptocurrency/blockchain but also earn as you read.
