What can you not believe we still have to deal with in 2019?

I can't believe that we still use petrol to travel with our cars. It's almost a century old technology (or maybe it's even more that a century old). Why is the technology of battery powered vehicles developing so slowly if we know that there is a limited supply of petrol on our planet? We can hear news about polluted cities all the time. Why don't they just ban petrol cars in their cities? I'm sure it would be a shock first, but that would make people buy electric cars and with more demand there would be more development in that industry.

I think we still have to bear with unnecessary paperwork requirements in so many places. What frustates me so much is that we have accomplished air travel since so many years but still we rely on manual stamps on boarding pass which if misplaced by the traveller then he/she will not be able to board the plane.

Still dealing with a 9 to 5, with minimum wage and no decent healthcare plan. With the internet coming into the main stream, I thought remote working opportunities would explode.

I thought things like shared jobs, and contract work, would be more dominant. I don't mean freelance, but were the worker has more control over the time, work, and pay.

If you add flex time and healthcare groups, were you can pick a group of people to buy healthcare with, this would be great.

I know their is an increase in those shared working spaces. thats a twisted on renting office space.
The benefits to workers/contractors is the power in numbers of people. The middle class is shrinking and even skilled workers are being reduce to minimum wage.
