Being one of the largest and leading exchanging platforms in the globe, Coinbase deciding to add XLM as a trade option could hoist its value independently from the market’s trend that is taking place at that particular time. The impact that Coinbase has over a coin that follows-up its addition in the platform has been witnessed with ETC/USD performance. Technologically being one of the strongest and most promising coins, Stellar’s XLM is truly looking at a very good hand of reaching above the $1.00 in the mid term.
XLM is going to be trading on all the exchanges, which have been missing till now like NASDAQ, Bakkt, Robinhood. We are aware that Jed McCaleb's potential, and how he has reached mindblowing heights by pushing up XLM to be positioned as the 4th largest cryptocurrency in the world by market cap. Its previous invention has also recently gone up to grab the 2nd position. 2019 is going to be a very critical year as the partnerships are going to increase manifold and as the transaction costs are one of the lowest in the market, the user adoption rate is also going up exponentially. The powerful team consisting of McCaleb and David Mazieres will give it a run, as compared to its peers. By 2019, it is expected to reach more than $0.50, somewhere around $0.60- $0.66.
XLM i think has a lot of promise as it has some large and powerful partners, like IBM and soon will be having a large announcement that should have many banks announcing that they will be using the IBM world wire where XLM will be one of the main 'gas' to exchange the currencies. So it's kinda doing what ripple does except they're actually going to use XLM to do it instead of on a private chain.
The future of XLM is bright... In my own opinion, the fact that it is integrated into blockchain.info is enough reason to it rise very well. And remember this was how bitcoin started 10years ago.
I have been considering if stellar will become, just a vehicle for companies to develop on top of.
So like Linux is an amazing technology that companies like Google and IBM have use to build digital products.
However if you were an independent developer who participated in bug fixes, and testing linux, what value have you earned or acquired.
With that said I'm confident that the Remittance industry will be transformed by the use of the Stellar network. I'm not sure if that means that stellar will grow significantly in price. I guess we will see.
I'm a bitcoin maximalish so I am looking out for projects that do things bitcoin can't. Stellar seems to me to be the best choice for giving the existing financial infrastructure a way to digitize their existing products and still comply with KYC/AML while mitigating the risk of centralization by being both non-profit and open source.
Stellar (XLM) gives you platform enabling many of features and futures for accepting payments globally in upcoming digital economy.
Stellar blockchain platform have focused especially on :
- Mobile Branches
- Mobile Money
- Services for the Underbanked.
I think it could be widely adopted as a micropayment/online cash currency similarly to how it is implemented on this site.
However, the competition is quite fierce for this use case, not to mention the very important fact that if and when the Lightning Network is fully implemented on Bitcoin all of these fast, feeless cryptocurrencies lose a lot of their appeal.
XLM Is just like ripple in many ways. The future is very bright. it's a crypto with value and in fact, IBM is currently planning to be using XLM. My advice is to stake has much as possible.
With announcement of XLM and IBM partnership .. I think more big institutions are gonna invest in this crypto ... Because the base is strong and fundamentals too..
