If you think about wars, which countries do you think have fought the most against each other? Surprisingly, it is Sweden and Denmark that could be the winners of this trophy. Since the beginning of official country of Sweden in 1521 they have fought 11 times against each other. How ever, if you count the times before that as well, the number rises to an astonishing 29 times! Talk about a friendly neighbouring past!

Naturally countries such as England and France could be the candidates for this questionable title. They have fought 16 times against each other if you count the Hundred years war as one war.

It all boils down to what we recognize as wars between countries and how do we define countries and their past before the official inception of a country.
